We created “The One Armed Man” as a foil to “The Fugitive”, thinking that as good as our first wine was, there was another level we could aspire to. Getting there; however, required that we lean in on our dark sides.
We wanted a wine that blew everyone away in its dark concentration, one that showed depths of flavor so deep that you would feel as though you were falling into it well past the last sip from the last glass. We wanted power, and weight and dark brooding intensity that all sounded… well, kind of like a bad guy. It only seemed natural to think of this wine as the arch villain in the story the Fugitive started… As scary as all that sounds, we love this wine, and sometimes, relating the bad guy can be fun too. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
